Taste & Mouthfeel: Full-bodied, rich, and intensely flavorful. The initial sweetness of malt sugars and molasses is beautifully balanced by a heavy, roasted bitterness. Expect prominent notes of espresso, raw cacao, and a hint of smokiness. The mouthfeel is thick, creamy, and satisfyingly "chewy." A long, warming finish where the 13% ABV makes its presence known in a comforting, elegant way. The lingering aftertaste is dominated by dark chocolate and a pleasant, roasty bitterness.
