Winemaking

Een blend van 40% Müller-Thurgau, 30% Auxerrois en 30% Pinot Gris. De vergisting vindt plaats bij lage temperatuur in roestvrijstalen tanks, waardoor de frisse fruitaroma’s en het karakter van de druiven behouden blijven.

Serving suggestion

Serveer op 8–10 °C in een tulpvormig wittewijnglas. Laat de wijn in het glas iets opwarmen, zodat het rijpe fruit en de bloemige aroma’s zich verder ontwikkelen.

Tasting note

Expressieve aroma’s van perzik, peer, rijpe appel en bloesem, aangevuld met tropische tonen van mango. In de mond fruitig en sappig, met een aangename rondheid en een subtiel vleugje zoet. Fijne zuren zorgen voor balans en een frisse, harmonieuze afdronk.

Food pairing

Heerlijk bij asperges, visgerechten en romige pasta’s. Ook een lichte risotto of salade met geitenkaas sluit mooi aan bij de combinatie van sappig fruit, rondheid en frisse zuren.

This wine is a blend made from 40% Müller-Thurgau, 30% Auxerrois, and 30% Pinot Gris. Creating a blended wine has become increasingly popular for white wine over the last 25 years. As a winemaker, you can distinguish yourself with your own unique recipe, as it were. The wine has a broad bouquet featuring both exotic fruit as well as white and red fruit. In addition, this wine also possesses characteristic floral notes. On the palate, it offers a broad experience with concentration and length. This wine is gastronomically versatile and pairs well with fish dishes, salads, risotto, pastas, veal, and cheeses. The Apostelhoeve Cuvée XII is also a fantastic combination with white asparagus.
